Oh, Japan. Why must you make me talk about things I don’t want to? Because when I woke up this morning I really didn’t think I’d be talking about incest.

maxresdefault (3)There is only one thing and one thing only I am going to be talking about for this episode. And that’s the brother sister relationship of Jun and Hotaru Furuya. Hotaru is obsessed with her brother. Thinking no one else is worth is time. She goes as far as literally pulling him away from a girl. Changing her personality and demeanor when talking with girls that get close to him. And, I’m not talking emotionally, I’m talking physically close.

And since this is Japan, two people are with in normal standing distance talking and it’s to close. Alright, so this is interesting. I never understood this trope before. Brothers and sisters being protective of a sibling. It’s normally an older sibling watching out for a younger one. But, not to the degree this is going. Most of the time it’s an older sibling just wanting the best for the younger. And even though it’s a misguided it’s understandable.

This, this is different. For Hotaru no one should be with her brother except her. I mean what does she expect him to marry her and spend the rest of his life with her? Wait. Oh ZAfKdnxmy god.

Oh my god. Why Japan?! Why? Things I never thought I’d have to write about. Especially when this is a cute slow romance comedy. Ugh, only in Japan would there be a incest story line. Even though Jun is not like “I only want my sister” or “I already have my sister”. He’s still letting it happen. God damn it Japan.

Since they are one of the stories I know they’ll show up again. but, I’m just going to head desk my way through their stories. I might comment again on them but for the most part I’m going to ignore them. Because I don’t want to write about incest. Even if it’s one sided. I still don’t want to write about it.
