Komori-san Can’t Decline,  Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! in Japanese, is a four panel manga written and illustrated by Cool-kyō Shinja. It was first published in 2012 and is still running. The anime, has the same title, is 13 episodes and aired in 2015 during the fall season. The anime fallows Komori, a tall large breasted middle school student, who can not decline any request as she likes to be helpful.

Join Toy Gun Gun

Aoharu X Machinegun, Aoharu X Kikanjuu in Japanese, is based on the manga by the same name. It is written and illustrated by NAOE. The manga first came out in early 2013 and is still ongoing. Since it is not finished and the anime didn’t finish the story I’m most likely going to add it to This Week in Manga, because I want to know what happened. The anime is 12 episodes long and literally as I was writing this article an special came out. Even though it didn’t come out with the original run, I am adding to this review. Because you bet I watched it on  the 10th.

Sankarea: Undying Love first came out in 2009 and ran till 2014. It has 11 volumes. The manga was written  and illustrated by Mitsuru Hattori. The manga has spawned a 13 episode anime with three OVAs and a light novel titled Sankarea: All Night-Rea Long.

Barakamon is based on a manga by the same name that is still currently running. The manga is written and illustrated by Satsuki Yoshino. There was also a spin off manga called Handa-kun by the same writer. The anime runs 12 episodes and lasted for one season.

And I Thought, This was About Zombies

Warning this post talk about fan service, a lot of fan service. There is just so much. Any way, High School of the Dead, is based of the manga by the same name. The manga was written by Daisuke Satō and illustrated by Shōji Satō (who by the way is mainly a hentai artist, which explains a lot about this manga. I looked him up, you know for research reasons).  The series first came out in 2006 and ran till 2013. It is currently on hiatus and does not have a date in which it wall be starting again. Along with this anime there is also an OVA that came out in 2011 a year after this anime finished.

Paradise Kiss is written and illustrated by Ai Yazawa who is also the writer of NANA. It was first published in 1999 and ran till 2003. There is a 12 episode anime based on it and a live action movie. The manga is a josei, meaning it is aimed at older woman and girls. Were as shojo is aimed at young girls and woman.
