Today I’m Playing: Doki Doki Literature Club Part 1 (Before I Start)

First things first, I learned about this game though a webcomic (My Giant Nerd Boyfriend, it’s adorable go read it). After looking in to it and having a very close friend (who is in no way an otaku, but a huge gamer) mention it and ask if I had played it. I knew I had to play it. 2015 in review

Well I have only a few hours left of 2015! I want to thank all of you for supporting me this year. I know I started late in the year, but I ended swinging. I look forward to seeing you all next year and I can’t wait to see what next year brings.

For Some Reason the Bad Acting is Charming

Lovely Complex live action movie came out in 2006. It’s based on the manga by the same name written and illustrated by Aya Nakahara. The manga spawned a game, this live action movie, a 24 episode anime, and a spin off manga. It is also the only manga and anime to use Kansai ben, an Osakan dialect for all of the characters.

Fallow Your Ghost into the Future

Ghost in the Shell is well know and popular that since it’s release in 1989, there have been four movies, three television series, four games, three OVAs, and a live action film in the works. Chances are  you have heard about this series. Chances are are you have not read the manga. The manga was originally published in 1989 and the came to America in 1995. The manga was written and illustrated by Masamune Shirow, pen name for Masanori Ota. Who also wrote the Appleseed manga. Serial Experiments Lain was released in July 1998. It was written by Chiaki J Konaka and produced by Triangle Staff. The series spawned a game and a manga based on it. The series lasted for 13 episodes and ended in September the same year.
