Magical Girls Never Get a Vacation

Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie, comes from the anime series by the same name, except the movie part. That series is based on the manga, again by the same name, written and illustrated by Clamp. If you don’t know who Clamp is, please stop reading this article and Google them, if that doesn’t ring a few bells. Then read or watch at least one of there works, trust me there is a whole library to choose from. Cliff note about them, they are an all female mangaka group that have been producing original manga since 1989. Cardcaptor Sakura is just one one their many many works, that came out in 1996. The anime came out in 1998 and the movie came out in 1999.

A year later the anime series came out first as a going to be a short, but it turned in to a full series. That series got a second season. There have been 27 video games released so far. There is also the card game that is very much like the Pokemon card game. Now if you are a 90’s kid or even early 2000’s you watched this as a child and all that is going through your head right now is “Digimon Digital Monsters, Digimon are the Champions!” Continue reading “Excuse me, I need to Watch Digimon”
