When this show started, the only thoughts that went through my head were “oh look an other magical girl like show, where every one is saved with the power of friendship or something like that.” Those shows are a dime a dozen. We don’t need more of those shows. So, I’m very happy I was wrong.
When you are young, you have an idea of how the world is. How you’re supposed to act and how to be an adult. Azumanga Dio, literally Great King Azumanga in English, was first published in 1999. It ran for 3 years till 2002. It was written and illustrated by Kiyohiko Azuma. The manga is done in four panel form, many say Azuma has mastered this form, and because of that the anime in 130 shorts put together in to 26 episodes. The anime was released in 2002. Komori-san Can’t Decline, Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! in Japanese, is a four panel manga written and illustrated by Cool-kyō Shinja. It was first published in 2012 and is still running. The anime, has the same title, is 13 episodes and aired in 2015 during the fall season. The anime fallows Komori, a tall large breasted middle school student, who can not decline any request as she likes to be helpful.
Vampire Knight is written by Matsuri Hino. It was First published in 2005 and ran till 2013. There is a two season anime by the same name, based on the series. There are also two light novel that fallow side stories from the characters in the Vampire Knight universe. There are also to drama CDs , a dating simulator and a live action musical stage play for the series.
